Photos are meant to capture memories but not all memories are memorable. These photos with dark stories behind them are proof of that.
Jim Jones was a self styled leader of The People’s Temple, an American religious organisation in northwestern Guyana. A total of 900 people died on November 18, 1978 due to cyanide poisoning which was ordered by Jones himself. The photos of that town sure has some dark stories to tell.

Ki Suk Han, a resident of Queens was pushed onto the tracks by a panhandler. This photo caught the final moments of Han’s life.
3. The Most Beautiful Suicide.
This photograph was taken four minutes after the death of Evelyn McHale by photography student, Robert Wiles. This photo is now considered the most iconic suicide photographs in history and is also referred to as “the most beautiful suicide”.
