When some of the countries fail to win as many medals as he alone has, Phelps continue to grow over previous legends and is on his way to becoming (or already has?) the Greatest Swimmer of all times.

Phelps is the world record-holder in 100 meters and 200-meter butterfly, 400-meter individual medley, 200-meter freestyle and 200-meter individual medley, making himself the most decorated Olympic swimmer of all time.

We list down some of the Michael Phelps’ facts that are still unknown to many:

1. Phelps was an ‘Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder’ (ADHD) kid and Swimming was introduced to him as an outlet for his energy.

2. Part of the reason Phelps is such an implausible swimmer is that he has an incredible wingspan – 6’7’’ at that!
